How to get to Hoop Dee Doo?

How would you get to the Hoop Dee Doo from the Poly?

Walk over to the TTC, and hop on the Wilderness Lodge & Fort Wilderness bus. The second stop will be the Settlement Depot, which is where the Hoop Dee Doo is located. To get back, there will be a bus marked Wilderness Lodge & Tran/Ticket CTR... take that bus.

Okay, Tyler, how about directions from BCVs? I will have a car so I am guessing that will be more direct than trying to take a bus somewhere.

When you leave the Beach Club, take a LEFT onto Epcot Resorts Blvd. When you reach the main intersection traffic light, take a RIGHT onto Buena Vista Drive. Stay in the right lane, you'll want to take the first exit onto World Drive.

Merge to your left two lanes, otherwise you'll be going to Epcot.

When you get to the MK Toll Plaza, make sure to stay as far right as possible. As soon as you go through the Toll Plaza, the road will fork. STAY TO YOUR RIGHT, and watch for merging traffic and buses. (Please don't cut us off) Once again, the road forks, stay as far right as possible without ending up in a ditch. Watch for the yield sign.

You are now on Vista Blvd, a windy curvy back road. You will come to a sign for Fort Wilderness... that's not the one you want... you want the SECOND entrance. It will be right before a small Security Guard Shack... take that Left, and follow the signs to park your car.

Board any bus that is marked "SETTLEMENT"... doesn't matter which color, they all go to the same final destination in the same amount of time (2-5 mins).

Settlement Depot is where Pioneer Hall & the Hoop Dee Doo is located.

To get back to your car, board any bus marked OUTPOST. Once again, color doesn't matter.

Once in your car, follow the signs to exit the parking lot. Make a LEFT out of the parking lot onto Vista Blvd, and go past the guard shack. You don't need to stop. At the first traffic light, take a RIGHT onto Bonnet Creek. Keep going... You'll pass Port Orleans Riverside, French Quarter, and eventually Old Key West. The third traffic light that you will hit, you cannot go straight anymore. Take a RIGHT onto Buena Vista Drive.

You'll go through 3 more traffic lights, and you'll run into the Boardwalk. Take that right, and you'll be on Epcot Resorts Blvd. From there, Im sure you can get back to your room.

Well, I figure either I give you the directions now, or I have to deal with a crazy lost tourist on the road later on... LOL We already have plenty of 'em... dont need any more... so might as well go with the former!

An alternative you could do... take the Monorail over to the MK, and hop on board a boat to Fort Wilderness... It will take a bit longer, but it's a nice ride.

Hi Tyler!

I'm hoping you can help me out with directions from All Star Movies to the Hoop De Doo Musical Revue. We have reservations for September and plan on taking WDW transportation. My orginal idea was to take a bus to the MK and then a boat for the 7:15 show, but with hours shortened I'm not sure that will work coming back.

Any suggestions are appreciated

Your best bet is to go in the following order:

Magic Kingdom - Take the bus to MK... let the driver know when you board that you want to go to the Hoop Dee Doo. Sometimes, if you're the only one, they can take you directly there. Otherwise, they will direct you to the boat.

2nd choice - Disney-MGM Studios, and transfer to the FW bus there. The Studios bus will drop you off directly at the Settlement Depot

3rd choice - Epcot or Downtown Disney, transfer, then take a Fort Wilderness SETTLEMENT internal bus.



To get BACK to All-Stars... take a bus marked OUTPOST... They *might* have an All-Star bus there, to take you back. If not, take the Epcot bus.

An Alternative... take the bus marked TRAN/TICKET CTR, hop the Monorail to Epcot, and catch the All-Star bus there.
