No one really knows, but probably cost savings, not all of the monorail resorts are fully open (eg, Poly and GF resort sides aren’t open yet), lack of demand, no park hopping. Probably also easier for Disney to manage the resort monorail capacity when the resort monorail line is only serving MK and not resort monorail guests needing to use it to transfer to the Epcot line. I suspect a little bit of all of the above.

Only the Shadow knows for sure... I think it is a combination of factors. Limited Monorail resort occupancy, social distancing spacing on the monorails, and the amount of time it take so make a trip to Epcot and return to TTC. Just not very efficient at this time. Ohh and add me to the no park hopping group.
