Some people are swearing Dinoland is better, but we go through Asia. So, that's one Asia vote.

I feel that going thru Dinoland is better.

There, you now have 2 different opinions.

In actuality, I think that both ways are about the same time. It really depends on the crowd levels. If everyone is heading for Asia, go thur Dinoland, if everyone is heading for dinoland, go thru Asia.

RUn through Asia or cut through Dinoland?

Some say that its via Dino-land but, the best route to EE queue and FP distribution is via the ASIA entrance.

Why?

A. Because it is a SHORTER ROUTE to the ENTRANCE to EE than going via Dinoland entrance. (Dinoland is closer to the "mountain" itself, but not the entrance and FP machines).

B. Because if the crowds are building the lines, you will have to WALK PAST them to actually get IN the line, if you come in from the Dinoland direction.

Like many "routes" at WDW the one you come to "FIRST" is not necessarily the one to choose... because of the convoluted direction it may follow.

Despite how it may appear just LOOKING at it, the route through Dinoland is quite a bit LONGER in distance than the Asia route. Enough that if the crowds are pouring in, you'll end up much farther back in the line by the time you reach the queue.

And, if you are there in the morning for Rope Drop, a CM will walk you (and hundreds of your closest friends) back to EE anyway (via the Asia route).

I took Robo's advise in August and found it to be 100% accurate. Thanks Robo!!! We were at AK for rope drop on EMH morning and walked with the CM escort thru Asia. DH got fastpasses (he was up ahead of us) and we got on the stand-by line. It was then I noticed another crowd (Dinoland?)being escorted by another CM. We rode the 3rd "train" out (it was GREAT) then got back on the stand-by line. Rode again after a 10 min wait. Then I rode the single rider line with a 5 min wait. Got off to find DH & DSs to use our FP. While I was on the ride, someone gave DH 4 FPs!!! We then rode another 2 times using the FPs!! I couldn't believe I rode EE 5x in 90 mins. It pays to DIS!!! Thanks everyone.

During am EMH in June, we were allowed to enter the park @ 8:00 a.m. but, crowd jammed up on bridge for awhile due to some people not being on the correct side for either Safari (left) and EE (right)...would help if they'd let folks know ahead of time.

CM did walk the throngs back @ a quick pace, I fell behind LOL but, we still were riding within a 1/2 hour & had FP in hand.
