I'm making my ADR's tomorrow (woo-hoo!) and was wondering how do you get to the Akershus Princess Breakfast in Epcot from the Grand Floridian? Does the monorail run at that time to Epcot? TIA! :goodvibes

we went from the Polynesian - take the EPCOT monorail -

fyi - there may only be one or two monorails that early - so my mistake was not factoring in the wait time for that monorail to return to the TT - from EPCOT

in its all in the timing...

Mind you, if you are "late" for your adr - they will still hold that adr and you check in, they will seat you and you will see all the Princesses -

so dont do as I - - I made dh do, throw dd on his shoulders once we got to EPCOT 5 min late and RUN because we were so late for our adr :rotfl2: Truly if you get to EPCOT AT your adr time, its ok, it is a very long walk from that monorail to Norway, and you will see lots of pretty princess in training but still, you dont need to run!! Really!! :)

Thanks! So, I should take the monorail from GF to the Transportation Ticket place and then hop the Epcot monorail? Does that sound right? I'm am soooo bad with directions that's it's no surprise that the monorails/buses of WDW are giving me a headache. :scared: Take care!

If your ADR is early....sleep in Hop a cab to the BC and walk to Akershus.

The walk from BC is about 15 min.....about the same as the front entrance.
Happy planning

Is it really a 15 min walk from the front of EPCOT??? this may be my deciding factor... I don't want to to a ton of walking before breakfast..
thanks for your help.

I don't think it is a 15 minute walk and I'm Pooh sized. It's more like 7-9 minutes, it just feels like 15 because most of it is uphill :)

ahhh Thank you...my dad is a diabetic, I don't want him doing a work out before getting there!!!

That's correct. Just be careful DH and I were there in December for our honeymoon and they had a malfunctioning monorail and we sat at the front of Epcot for about 20-30 minutes waiting for the monorail ahead of us to get going again so allow yourself PLENTY of time, I allowed us an hour and fifteen minutes and we were 30 minutes late. Probably won't happen to you though.
