How to get the photos from MaxPass?

So at WDW when you purchase the Memory Maker, all the ride photos just magically load right on to your MagicBand. I have read at DL, you have to input the code into the app. What about random photographers in the park, do I need to have my tickets handy at all times so they can scan it after every photo? Like the old photopass in WDW? Is it a separate card from park admission? Thanks for the help.

I've only done it once, bit as I recall, yes, you have to have them scan your park ticket.

Two options for the photographers that we used:

1. Have them scan the QR code in the app. Under the “My Photos” section on the main home screen there is a “Link PhotoPass” option. Tapping that reveals a QR code.
2. Scan the card they give you by tapping on “Link Photo, Card or Purchase” on the previous screen mentioned under “Link PhotoPass”. There is also an option on this screen to enter things like the codes that appear on the ride photos.
