We've decided sort of spur of the moment to go to Disney next month, and really want to stay at the Polynesian. It appears from the website, etc., that all the Deluxe resorts are pretty much booked solid, no rooms available at all. Is there any other way to find rooms? Are there any travel agents that have their own blocks of rooms available?

call direct,,caa like the other said,,or just show up and you will get a room..they allways have cancelations,we did that 3 or 4 times,,

i would personally want to stay at a different location who wants to stay at a packed resort. jmho

If you have a resort in mind, like the Poly, try calling CRO directly. I have found that there are times when the website will say one thing, either in availability or price, and the CM on the phone will say something different.

Also, call in the morning. We booked a last minute trip (2 weeks out) and when we were ready to confirm everything (flight, resort), the website and Disney travel said everything was sold out at the resort. The next morning, it was available. Apparently, cancellations appear the next day, not immediately.

That is absolutely correct! I have never found the website to be even remotely up to date.
