How to get picked for GM

Is there anything special youcan do to get picked to be in a parade? I would love for my little family to become part of the Magic!

It is just the luck of the draw. Being at the right place at the right time.

Walk slowly up Main Street. If a CM starts to talk to you, keep the conversation going.

They generally don't pick families with strollers. It is too hard logistically to get on your GM vehicle and have to leave a stroller.

I've read here that you need to be the 'leave it to beaver' family. Mom, Dad, 2 kids. In watching the parades, that seems to be true.

We were me, husband, DS9 and DD7. The other family was just a husband and wife. He was celebrating his 50th birthday. They rode in Walt's car and we rode in the fire truck.
