How to get from AKL to Chef Mickey's?

My brother and his family are meeting us at Chef Mickey's for our 7:20 PS. Does anyone know the best mode of transportation to get from AKL to Chef Mickey's at 7am?

Also, my family is travelling from WL to Chef Mickey's and hoped to take the boat over to the MK but we also don't know if the boat will be running that early. Our reservations are on a Wednesday and I don't believe that is an early entry day for MK. Any ideas?

There are special busses that will pick up at the AKL starting at 6:45 AM and take you to MK. From there it is a short walk to the CR or you can take the RESORT monorail (starts running at 7) from the MK to CR.

Are youy asking about taking the boat AFTER CM? The boat between WL and CR starts at 7 AM.

If you are worried about the buses I would take a cab. We've done this a few times on our stays at AKL and it's only around $10.00. You'll definately want to catch a bus or cab by 6:45 am for a 7:20ps.

Thanks for the help! Looks like we should both be able to get there in time. We'll have to double-check the bus/boat schedules to make sure and keep the taxi idea as a back-up. It's good to know that the taxi fare is reasonable. We're heading to the MK for the day so we'll just walk over from CR.

If you call Disney Dining to double check, they will tell you that there are no busses that early.

You can go over to the Transportation board and Tyler (Chip 'n Dale) is a bus driver who will give you the correct info. I will try and find the tread he did on the what where and how of early morning breakfast transportation.

Also, if you read his post farther down the thread(8-9 posts) he talks about WL to MK.

For those staying at WL/FW, it's a bit more tricky.

For FW, guests need to take the Orange bus to get to the MK. The Orange will stop at the Settlement, then WL, and then TTC. However, often times if the driver has time, they can take you to the MK directly (they are on tight schedules). Otherwise, just hop on board the Monorail.

For WL, follow the above. Hop on the bus marked TTC, and tell the driver you're going to a breakfast at the MK or whatnot. Depending on schedule, he or she might be able to take you directly.

The special busses to MK will generally drop you at CR for Chef Mickey's since it's just a small detour. Since the MK gates will not be opening for a while yet, I would think the driver would be willing to make this stop. (Can't say that NO driver would refuse, but at that hour I'd be surprised.)

If all else fails, the bus depot is just about as close to the CR as it is to the MK entrance, so the walk would be even quicker than it would be from the MK itself.
