How to get free parking?

We've been going to Disneyland nearly annually for the last decade and have always bought our tickets through AAA simply because the tickets came with free parking. Sadly, they have discontinued that benefit. Are there any other ways to get free parking? I don't want to pay $17 a day and I also don't want to have to wait for the ART. I have gotten very spoiled over the years!

I have never been able to get free parking and I've been going for almost 30 years. I'm curious if there is a way, but as far as I know, there is not. In fact, they recently did away with the option of adding parking to a new AP, too.

There is one other option, stay at a hotel which has free parking and a free shuttle to the parks :)

AAA was the only site that offered free parking with their tickets. I am afraid you are out of luck since DLR is lessening any parking discounts.

We always stay at our timeshare, so no shuttle, although I think the ART stops nearby. Oh, well. Thanks! I wasn't sure if there was another option that I just hadn't heard about yet.

It looks like the ART passes would cost my family $80 for the five days, while paying for parking would be $85. I guess we'll go with the parking. Bummer that AAA (or Disney) discontinued the free parking. That was a very nice perk, and really, the only reason I buy a AAA membership.

You can get free parking at Downtown Disney for three hours (5 if you get a validation from one of the restaurants). I understand you'll probably need to be parked for longer than five hours, but thought I would throw it out there.

Disney is trying to get less people to drive/park. So I don't see them offering free parking again, until they get the parking issues straightened out.

I had free parking with my reservation at the FFI, through Costco.

You are referring to free parking at the hotel, correct (I have done the same thing through Costco with FFI)? OP wants to get free parking at the Disney lots since they have to drive in.
