How to get DisneyLand PhotoPass CD Pricing

I have never used a forum before, so please forgive me and guide me, if I'm doing something incorrectly or inappropriately.

I returned from Disney World a couple of months ago, added my photos to my account. Then I learned that the Pre-Order PhotoPass CD was no longer available, except to those who booked thru Disney and ordered it in advance. I paid to extend my photo expiration dates in the hopes that the Pre-Order PhotoPass CD would return or I would find another option. Pre-Order PhotoPass CD is now available again, but only for photos added to your account AFTER it's purchase.

Question one:
Does anyone know if extending your photo expiration dates alters their "added to your account" date and lets the photos be ordered on a Pre-Order PhotoPass CD that was ordered after the photos were originally added to your account?

For example:
You add photos to your account.
Then you find out about the Pre-Order PhotoPass CD and order it.
Then you extend your photo expiration dates.
Then you use your Pre-Order PhotoPass CD.

Did extending your photo expiration dates do something in Disney's system that let the Pre-Order PhotoPass CD include them?

Has anyone tried this, intentionally or by accident? Were you successful?

Please note, that this question is only pertinent to Pre-Order PhotoPass CDs AFTER Disney reinstituted the availability of the Pre-Order PhotoPass CD to everyone. (After mid-April 2010, I believe.)

Question Two:
Internet Googling has led me to the conclusion that if you have BOTH Disney World and DisneyLand PhotoPass cards added to your account AND if the DisneyLand pictures were taken AFTER the Disney World Photos, that you can order the PhotoPass CD for $59.95 (without a pre-order).

Can't anyone just add any PhotoPass card with recent pictures from DisneyLand to their PhotoPass account, (after they add their Disney World PhotoPass cards and as long as someone else is not adding the DisneyLand PhotoPass card to another account), and then get the DisneyLand PhotoPass CD for $59.95 (without a pre-order)?

Is there anyone who is going to be at DisneyLand, who would be willing to take one or more pictures, on a separate PhotoPass card from DisneyLand and PM me the code to add to my PhotoPass account? I can e-mail you the pictures once I get the PhotoPass CD, if you want copies of them.

Third Question:
From what I understand, two or more parties can add their PhotoPasses to the same account and order a one master PhotoPass CD, then duplicate it to distribute to the other PhotoPass CD sharing parties.

Is there anyone who has any Disney World or DisneyLand PhotoPass cards (which they have not yet added to a PhotoPass account, since mine are already added to my account), they want to have on a PhotoPass CD, who would like to do a PhotoPass CD share?

I hope this all was clear and made sense.

Thank you, in advance, for your replies.

1) There is a pre order for DLR CDs now??? Didn't know that....

2) Yes if you add DLR photos after WDW photos you pay the DLR price.

3) Photopass sharing isn't allowed on the DIS anymore...

I have a question regarding DLR Photopass CD. We are going to DLR very soon! We did pre order the Photopass CD before going to WDW back in March 2009 and would like to do one for DLR. Is there a pre order Photopass CD for DLR? Does anyone have an idea how much it cost, please? I am going nuts trying to find information! Thanks!!!:confused3

No, there is no pre-order for DLR photopass. The price of the CD for DLR is 59.95 and a few bucks shipping.

OP, if you went a couple months ago, are you sure your photos are still there, even with a paid extension???

There is no preorder for DLR CDs. It costs $59 whether you purchase in the park or wait until you get home (which will allow you to add borders). Shipping is only a couple of dollars. There are a lot less Photopass photographers in DLR so some order the CD and some just order the few prints they want.

There's an even better deal now...

When you're at DLR, purchase the photo gallery CD for $59.95. It has about 300 or more "stock" photos on it. It's kind of nice to have. Inside is a coupon for your photopass CD.

When you get home, put on all of the borders and embellishments you want to your photos, then order your CD. Use the coupon code and it will be sent to your house--free shipping! I ordered mine last Monday and got it on Thursday. Very quick.

This is a special deal they are running right now, so make sure you ask about it at the photopass locations.

I am a bit confused...is the coupon for free shipping, free photopass CD, or a discount off the photopass CD (and if so, how much?)?

Thanks for sharing!

Ok thanks you guys!! You guys ROCK!:cool1:
I figured that was the case as I couldn't find anything relating to DLR preorder but could for WDW. At least I will wait and see if it's worth it for the amount of pics on Photopass card.:)

The coupon is for your personal photopass CD. Inside the case you purchase at the parks is a CD with stock photos, along with the coupon. When you put the coupon code in after you order your personal photopass CD on the website at home, it takes your balance down to zero.

Wow, that is a great deal! I have been wanting to buy that stock photo CD..hope they continue this through the Fall as I won't be back at DL till then.

THANKS Lissame!!!!

Is there any way to buy the stock photo CD from home? I didn't know about it when I was in the park. Also is there any way to add any of the stock photos to your personal CD? I don't need all of them but a few would be nice.

You can buy it online. But no, the pix aren't included on your normal photopass CD, they are entirely separate.

Thanks so much for the info!!!! I think we are going to do the photopass now. That is a great deal. Where do you buy the cd at? Is it at the photopass shop there at the end of main street? Thanks again!
