Ee have just decided to cruise March 6/04 (our second). Want to try to get Secret porthole cabin, and we are not tied firmly to that date.
How can we find out (ie a web site) what cabins are available.

Thanks for you help I just love these boards.

WHAT I DID WAS USE www.expedia.com WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH DU AND IF YOU GO TO THE CRUISE SECTION PUT IN YOU INFO GO THRU THE "BOOK THIS CRUISE" SECTION IT WILL COME UP WITH THE ROOMS THAT ARE AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO PICK FROM. THAT WILL GIVE YOU AN IDEA WHICH CABINS ARE STILL OPEN. THERE MAYBE ANOTHER WAY TO FIND OPEN CABINS BUT I FOUND THIS TO WORK. ;)

I just checked out expedia.com and it appears that 5520 is available. I could be wrong, but I think that it a secret porthole room. If it is you better grab it fast!

I have a question. When using Expedia to see what rooms are available will they show you all rooms available or just the ones they purchase? For example, I'm looking to book adjoining SPR for 2004 (May?) and they are showing they are not available, but could they really be still availabe from somewhere else? Thanks!

I'M NOT SURE IF IT ONLY SHOWS ROOMS THAT EXPEDIA HAS BLOCKED OR IF THEY SHOW ALL THE ROOMS AVAILABLE. I JUST KNOW WHEN I WAS BOOKING THRU DU I HAD IT IN FRONT OF ME AND ASKED FOR ONE OF THE ROOMS THEY SHOWED AVAILABLE AND WAS ABLE TO GET IT SO THAT LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT IT WASN'T A ROOM THEY HAD BLOCKED SINCE I GOT IT THROUGH DU.

My impression is that all reservations are ultimately made only with Disney Cruise Lines (DCL). As a result, I would think that any "stateroom availability" information that is not coming directly from DCL could be outdated and/or incomplete. If you really want to know what staterooms are available, why not just call DCL?

All of the online booking engines usually show you the best 8 or so staterooms in that category. None of them show you ALL the rooms that are available. It is certainly possible that other staterooms you are requesting are available even if they do not show up on the list. :)

You guys are great. 5520 was open, and I got it (wth 5513)

Thank you so much

debbie
