Hi there! DH and I have scheduled a long weekend at Disney for the end of Sept. We have park hopper passes from the last time we were there (2 years ago  ). We THINK they each have 2 days left...how can we be sure???

TIA

I checked them in the front desk at WDW resorts during our stay last week

I am not sure how you can find out before you leave for your vacation

Thanks folks! Can they do it when we check in at Pop Century, or will we have to wait until we get to the parks???

I just want to be sure so that we can plan to get other tickets if we need them :)

Hi cuppycake! And Welcome to the DIS! :)

You can have your passes checked at Pop Century. If for some reason they tell you that they can't, push the issue because they can.

:)

As far as I know there is no way to have them checked before you actually get to Disney.

Once you get to Disney I'm almost certain those tickets must be checked at the Ticket and Transportation Center ticket windows or at a ticket window of any of the four major parks (MK, EPCOT, MGM or AK) where they can tell you for sure the number of admissions left on them.

I'm not certain if they could be checked at the waterparks (TL or BB) or at Pleasure Island, but I doubt it or at least wouldn't risk it if a negative answer would put a crimp in my day...does anyone else's knowledge differ?

I was writing my response as you were writing yours! Can they really do this now? The last time I asked to do this...admittedly 2 1/2 years ago, they couldn't/wouldn't do this at the resorts, although they had lots of other ticket options.

For sure? If you say yes I will add that fact to my list!

Hi ozymoe!

I am about 99% certain that you can get hoppers "read" at any Disney owned resort, at the parks (I too am not sure about the water parks), and at Guest Services (or is it Guest Relations?) at Downtown Disney.

You should have been able to get the information that you wanted 2 1/2 years ago. Someone was either unwilling or unable to do so for you.

When we took our second trip to WDW in 1998, we had days left on our passes from 1996. We were able to find out exactly what we had left when we checked in at the All Star Sports.

GoldenOldie usually weighs in on ticket questions, so hopefully they will set us all straight on this issue. :)

Just take them to the Guest Relations counter when you check in at the resort and they can check the tickets for you.

I am 100% sure that they can be checked at the guest relations in the disney resort. I had my tickets checked at BoardWalk last week.

They can be checked at your resort, assuming it is an onsite resort.

They can do it now and they could do it 2 1/2 years ago, too. I'm just guessing on what might have happened here but if you ask at the front desk during a busy period of check outs or check ins, they will often tell you that they can't do it. The truth is that they can but they are just brushing you off to attend to the check ins/outs. Your best bet at the resort is to go to the Guest Services window and have them do it there.

You are correct Beth.

And it's Guest Relations at DTD. Here's the easy way to remember. Guest Services is only at Disney resorts, nowhere else. Everything else (parks, water parks, DTD, Ocala) is Guest Relations.
