How to do "concierge"???

I always come to WDW prepared with ADRs booked etc. I am a big time planner, but things happen and it has been one of the perks of staying concierge that in a pinch, they've always come thru for us.

Exactly! I always have our ADRs well in advance, but sometimes last-minute changes are necessary, and it's nice to have the concierge CMs make some phone calls for you.

So it's not a DIS urban legend that concierge CMs can *sometimes* get you into their own resorts' booked restaurants.

Again, this has been my personal experience, and also the experience of other DISers, which I've read about over the years. Take it or leave it.

Here is my story when it comes to getting last minute ADR's from one the Cast Members who work on the Club Level floors and buildings.

In August 2006 my family and I happen to be at WDW during the free dinning period. I had asked one of the Cast Members on the Atrium Club for making lunch two ADR's. One day would be at the Plaza and the other day at 50's Prime Time Cafe. Maybe it's because lunch is an easier time to get at the last minute or maybe it was something else, but we got to pick anytime we wanted and this was when everyone was saying during the free dinning period there is 100% no chance of getting last minute ADR's in WDW.

I think that is great to get assistance with ADR's at the last minute..that seems like that should be a perk of being on Club Level/Concierge
I am all for perks, and if they can make it happen...great! As long as CL guests know that CM's can hopefully perform Magical things...not miracles!
My idea for a special perk for YC/BC CL guests.......Reserved Seating at SAB!!! Can you imagine?
I actually made a joke abt it today to their IPO...they loved it!!
We were concierge guests at an all inclusive in Riviera Maya, and they had a special roped off section at the beach...although we never utilized it cause I thought it was a bit much.
As far as taking drinks, cans of soda , back to the room, I think that is ok, I think patsal meant some folks were filling up coolers for the day...

nope, not a CL thing...you can get them in just about any food court/store! Mickey head shaped, with choc dipped ears!!! As Rachael Ray would say "YUM - O!"
