How to decorate rooms at resort?

We are going in December and it is my daughters birthday, as well as pre-Xmas.
What are you allowed to use? Tape? How do you hang stuff? Do you just "drape" the lights on the balcony? How do you get them plugged in then? Does mousekeeping take your stuff down/get mad if you hang things?
Suggestions please.

When my daughter's PW cheerleading team (I know, I know, but they really ARE nice kids, most of them) was in ASMo last December, we were told not to use tape. We brought magnets to stick things to the exterior doors and we put stuffed animals and other things in the windows. Balloons were good, too, but I understand you cannot bring balloons on property at AKL because of the potential risk to the animals. Hope this helps.

We stayed at CSR over Christmas and we bought a table top christmas tree, mini decorations , battery operated lights and put a little santa hat with mickey ears on top and put the tree on the TV cabinet. It looked great.
