How to deal with a client

Our office building is across the street from a community college. We have fast food restaurants downstairs, so quite a few college kids come in and out of the building. A couple of months ago I saw a young African American guy looking like a pretty typical college student...big baggy shirt, stylish tennis shoes, backpack, baseball cap...and a white eyelet skirt...just like the one I had just bought for my DD at Old Navy. No make up to indicate he was actually "cross dressing"...just wearing that white eyelet skirt.

Whenever I got overcome with giggles that were spontaneous and unwanted, I'd stifle them with a cough. If it got really bad I'd say excuse me, I need some water and get it out of my system.

(Course that wouldn't help if the giggles kept coming.)

I guess I should lie and say that I was the ultimate professinal. But I wasn't.

For the life of me, I have not been able to stop giggling since yesterday. I know that sounds crass and I am sorry. Halfway there I was able to get it under control somewhat, but when I met him at the driveway, I just lost it. Stayed in my car a few minutes, and composed myself somewhat and then got out and decided to be upfront and honest with him. That is the only way I know how to deal with people.I told him I had never seen a man in a dress before, and that I was sorry that I could not stop giggling. He was very nice about it and thanked me for my honesty and told me to get my giggles out as long as he could giggle about my name I asked him waht I need to call him, either Mr or Ms X and he said no, just call him Dick
