Our mini-van has tinted windows in the back, but still the sun usually makes one side of the van hotter than the other. On long drives, it makes for one child being hot and the other not. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas for how to hang something from the window or ceiling to block out the sun?

Thanks!

Hi, I've never used them but, you see those shades that they sell to block the sun from the babies face. How about that?

We have packed those plastic films that are perforated (and usually have characters printed on one side) in our luggage and use them to stick on the window in the minivans when we have traveled. They are flat and don't take up any room. Maybe you can take one or two of those

I have foldable wire-edged black-mesh screens that stick to the windows with suction cups. Two sets should do it for you. I got them at WalMart.
