OK my ressies at DolPhin start on Sunday. But our first park day is Monday
Buying 4 day park hoppers

Since tickets not tied to ressie(like the length of stay tickets)...do I start counting back from Sunday, because I "might" go that day?

Another question-if I buy the tickets from Disney, online-they are not linked -and I can use them indefinitely-right? Like if trip gets cancelled

Yes, your "start date" will be Sunday. What do you mean by tickets not linked? To make FP+ selections you'll need to have tickets linked to your account. If for some reason the trip is postponed you can still use those tickets in the future. They aren't activated until used to enter the first park.

You can use this calculator to calculate your 60 day mark.

I'm afraid I can't help you with the other questions.

:thumbsup2 Thanks-I can remember my SIL having "Length of Stay" tickets years ago when a Hurricane hit the area and she lost out of a couple days

Length of Stay ticket were valid only during your room reservation and priced to include the check in and check out days. But if the parks were closed for a day or two due to a hurricane or something like that then Disney should have imputed a shorter stay for the tickets and refunded the difference, or issued new future-use tickets for the unused days.

A: Thanks to the pp who supplied the link to a calculator.

No, it's not dumb. Few people (I'm not one) can add and subtract dates. In recent years I have needed to compute loan interest on loans between family members. I have been off by a day or three every so often and no one has come forth (of course with their own numbers) to complain.

You can make FP+ reservations 60 days before your check-in date. You can make all of you FP+ reservations at that time for your entire stay through your check-out day.

In order to make FP+ reservations, you must have valid WDW tickets linked to your MDE account. The system will only let you make FP+ reservations for the number of days on your ticket.

So, if you have 4-day tickets and check-in on Sunday you can make FP+ for M-T-W-Th (for example). You can't then also make some FP+ reservations for Friday too (if you think your plans might change a little). You are only allowed to make 4-days worth.
