I have 3 nights booked at AKV Jambo and 3 nights booked at SSR preferred for a grand villa in December. I am assuming Jambo will be fully open by then. My question is would you keep it this way to try both villas or would you switch at 7 months if Jambo is still open? Also I have read that Kidani grand villas are normally still available at 7 months- would it be worth it to do 3 nights at Jambo and 3 nights at Kidani if that is all I can get?

I figured if I am left with having to stay at both I would stay at SSR first and then switch to Jambo?
Thanks

I would not split stay in that situation. It would be lots of work to get everyone switched and I would feel responsible.

nonetheless I love split stays when it’s DH and me.

I also wouldn’t guarantee that Jambo will be fully open by that time. My guess is that will be the absolute last property fully opened and i don’t think it will be in 2021.

I might not have a choice depending on what happens at 7months - unless I choose only SSR but not sure I want to do that. Maybe Kidani would be open at 7 months - no clue!

Jambo is a great 3 bed unit, and much larger than the ssr 3 bd. I would be disappointed to move out of the Jambo GV. If you want to check them both out, I hope ssr is the first resort because you´ll love Jambo. We have been in both. Staying at Jambo the whole time would be the easiest way to go. I think the whole resort will be open, it is a whole year away.

Switch to Jambo. I think it is a much nicer unit than SSR.

I think you will like Jambo and won't want to move in 3 days (if that is the first one). The view is amazing! Toured it, have not stayed there. Toured the SSR as well, and while very nice - Jambo is better. If left with both - I would stay at SSR first. Sounds like a fantastic vacation and will be great no matter what you decide or options you are limited to!
