How to contact California Grill directly?

I am planning on proposing to my girlfriend on January 5th at the California Grill. Our ADR is currently for 5:35 pm, and I would like to move it later. After contacting Disney Dining the only other option is 9:00 pm.

Some posters said that California Grill would be accomodating for this special event. The issue is no one I have spoken to, nor through googling, has turned up a way to contact the CG directly.

Can anyone here help me accomplish this?

I have done this a few times. Needed to adjust some reservation issues, number of people or changing times etc. I have called from my room at the BCV and simply asked to be connected with the California Grill. Have always gotten through but I don't think I was able to actually speak with anyone until after 4 p.m. or so.

I'd like to do this, however, my girlfriend had already said she will not go back out on that! She's not really afraid of heights, but got dizzy January '08 when we were out there. Hopefully we'll get a nice window seat!

Did you try calling and asking Disney DIning for the direct phone number? That's what we ultimately did a couple years ago. We were surprising DS and DDIL by prepaying their anniversary dinner (up to a certain amount). However, Disney DIning at that time wouldn't take a credit card in a name other than the diner's! So how could we surprise them? Finally DD gave me the direct number to the CG. There they were very accomodating, and at the time of the dinner, gave my DS and DDIL a free anniversary dessert also.

This number brought me right to Disney Dining. There were able to give me a number for group parties, and I left a voice-mail. I will let everyone know if they are able to work something out for me.
