How To Choose A Date?

Nope, not a date with a lady, but a date for a party.

I am going to Disney in both October and December. We want to do the Christmas party. I am not sure if I want to go Tuesday the 5th or Thursday the 7th? The price is the same for both. So how can I determine which would be a little less crowded?

One website said let pricing be the guide, but they are all the same that week other than Friday.
Another website said that all parties are bad except Sunday and Tuesday.
Another website said only Friday parties are bad.

I would do Tuesday. We have done the Halloween party twice on a Tuesday and it wasn't crowded. Because it is a school night, you would get less locals with kids on a school night.

I would do a Tuesday bc I feel less FL residents would be there bc it's a work/school night.

Who knows? Maybe bc I'm a FL res I just think that way.

We have done the parties and in the end feel they are not worth the money any more. The amount of time at the park is limited. We originally did it for the more rare M&Gs. Since those lines are usually very long, so much of your time is wasted waiting in lines. The parades, shows, and everything are great. I just felt the things we wanted to do just aren't worth the price.

As for a day to go, mid-week is probably better than weekends.

I hope the crowds for our Sunday MVMCP are manageable. I would be a little upset if the special ticket party is wall to wall people, the same as a typical night at MK. I don't care a whole lot about meet and greets, but my wife is very excited to go just to see all the decorations and the music and all that.
