:guilty: :guilty: :guilty: Hey guys,

I regret to say it but I am seriously considering cancelling/selling. I am just not happy at this point and I feel I may have acted too quickly. I was wondering as the 15 day cancellation period has passed what steps I will need to take. Will there be penalties? Will we get our deposit back? How bout getting back the 2005 prorated dues I just paid? WIll it be a lengthy process? We signed and became owners 10/2005. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Perhaps in a few years I will be ready. thanks in advance.

You should call your guide and see what may be done. Since the recision period has long passed, your only choice may be to sell your contract- either yourself or thru a broker.

If DVC is unwilling/unable to bend their policies you might just want to give The Timeshare Store a call to sell if they can assist with your sale.

Good luck!

If you really think you'll want back in a few years from now, you might look into renting your points for a while if it works for you financially. Look into what you could realistically sell for and how that stacks up against renting out your points. I'm not a timeshare expert, but you'd really need to see if what you can sell for is anything close to what you bought for......

Sorry your situation has changed regarding owning a DVC membership. Hope everything works out for you. :(

Did your contract actually close? If so, I think your only choice will be to sell through the resale market.

It sounds like you have no option other than to resell at a loss or keep it. Talk to your guide as the state 10 day cancellation period starts at the poinnt you get all of the required materials.
