How to cancel reservations?

Currently, I have two reservations for the same time while I decided which to go with -- Boardwalk Inn and Swan. Do I have to call the Disney reservations number to cancel or can I send an email or fax to cancel a reservation.

We are thinking we'd go with the Swan since it is less expensive with a teacher rate. We've stayed at both the Swan and Dolphin in the past.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you need to call to cancel -

Hi fellow PA resident - If you made a deposit to hold your reservations, you should call and get the confirmation number that your reservation was cancelled. That way you have proof and can make sure you get your refund. If you just had them do a courtesy hold, the room will just be released when you don't pay your deposit and I don't think you have to call them at all. If I am wrong, I hope that someone corrects me. Thanks Sherry

Yes. I've already paid for 2 of the 4 days.
I'm really struggling with this because of the cost, but I have been really really wanting to stay at the BWI. The Swan is just so much less expensive. UGH...I hate making decisions like this!

Hi - I know what you mean. I was holding off booking until AP rates came out for Nov/Dec. But my husband hit the hotwire button and we got the Swan for $81 a night. This will be the first time we haven't stayed at a Disney owned resort. I was hoping for good AP rates for the AKL again this year because I love it there. But Swan and Epcot here we come. My theory is I will be at DIsney so hip hip hooray:Pinkbounc
