Can anyone tell me if there is tax on the dining plan charges? What I mean is the per night per person charges for the various dining plans. I have been trying to find out if my pin code was the same discount as the current AP rate offered.

It shouldn't have been the same. The pin was supposed to be for 35% off mods. and the current AP discount should be 40% off (4+nts at a mod). When I asked for the new AP rate, the CM told me it was the same final price as my current pin offer???

For the life of me, I can't get my numbers to total what the final price on my confirmation works out to. It's not a lot of money, but it just bugs me that I can't get it figured out to be the same. Doesn't matter if I work it out at 35% or 40%, the total from Disney is somewhere in the middle?:confused3

Tax on rooms is 12.5%, 13% at the All Stars since they are in a different county.

Tax on tickets is 6.5%.

The meals tax (6.5%) is already figured in to the cost of the DDP, so don't calculate tax on that when you figure your rates.

My experience with PINs and rate codes has usually been that the offer is "up to XXX% off", may not be the same for weekend nights or peak dates.
