How to book ADRs at the same time

We are taking a multigenerational trip in April and this is my first time doing ADRs for someone other than the 4 of us. I hear people talk about getting 2 ADRs at the same time and being asked to be seated together, but I cannot figure out how to make more than 1 ADR at a time. I was even trying to make one for my husband and I (date night) and something for the grandparents and grandkids at a different restaurant. As soon as I click on the time, I get the pop up that we already have a reservation at that time. No one else has a MDE account, I am currently managing everyone through my account.

I think you need someone else to be the "owner" of the other reservation. If you're on the website, after you pick a time deselect all the members of your travel party as guests and change the reservation contact to someone else. I think that should work. (To be honest I didn't try to make a reservation at the same time as an existing one).
