How to book a daytrip to DLRP?

Hi!
My brother is thinking of coming with us in April and I think a daytrip would be more in his budget (2A 1C 1I), does anyone know of the best and cheapest way to do a day trip?
We'll probaby get his tickets with the 20% from our Dream Aps when we get there, so what is the best way for him to travel for a day trip?
Would ferry be cheap and is there some kind of taxi he could get to the resort, or would it be better if he drove by eurotunnel and make his own way there?

Eurostar would be straight to the park as well as maximise a good amount of time at the parks.

While both Eurotunnel and ferry are probably slightly cheaper options the drive back home after a long drive there, along with a full day at the park might just be to much for everyone

I think most coach trips are for minimum 2 days, but hopefully someone else will be able to help

Don't think you would get a coach day trip even from Dover due to the regulations on the amount of driving hours they can do.

I managed to get a really good deal with eurostar,
four seats £58 each way so keep an eye out you may get a bargin.
That is for feb half term. With voucher from bluewater.

Its about a 3 hr drive from Calais to DLP so doing it for a day trip would be really exhausting. There are some very cheap hotels in Bussy St George - approx £30 night so it might be worth him staying over if he prefers to drive

Have you considered looking for cheap flights as I think to drive for a day would be way too tiring. If you could find an early flight out and a late flight back that would work.

thanks, i will look into those, maybe a cheaper hotel would be the solution for him s i don't think he's too fussed about having to travel a short while to get to the parks, do you take the train a couple stops? or is there a bus?

There's links to cheap hotels in the Hotel FAQ sticky. It's very easy to get the RER train in from Val d'Europe, Bussy-Saint-Georges or Torcy.

Otherwise if he was to get an early flight in and a late flight out ~ he could get the TGV to/from the parks

or

catch a very early indirect Eurostar ie. to Paris then the direct one home in the evening.
