How to best make this Aulani room request?

Hubby and I are 5 weeks away from our first ever DVC stay, and at aulani no less! I have done lots of research about rooms and views. We have an ocean view studio.
I would like a room with a good view, and I know I love the views of 1204,1510 and1610.

How do I best do this? Request high floor overlooking main pool? Request the specific room?

It's also our 10 yr anniversary- do I mention that?

In your case, I would ask for high floor with room # ending in XX04 or XX10. Keep in mind that it is merely a request, and they do not have to honor it. I find that adding the room number helps them know the exact location you desire vs. just stating high floor and what building you want.
