No no no I am so totally kidding, but Im speaking for myself here kids the other Scoopies may have a different view on what its like to be a Scoopie.
I am a Scoopie because I just adore the man! He has single handedly brought smiles to so many people that you just have to love him. There are not a whole lot of pin traders out there that do not know who Scoop is and once you meet him you will not forget him. Im not making him out to be a pin supertrader God with a low edition pin of his own to hand out, knowing him will not get you a Scoop pin, many that know him do not have one. He is just like you and me, but Im fortunate enough to call him a friend, but hes really more like family now.
If you go to one of his seminars you will learn the fine art of pin trading, and one of his lessons is that it is better to give than to receive.
Scoop helps people by educating them on the fine art of pin making, what is a good pin versus a bad pin, lessons on how to trade and things of that nature, all the castmembers know and love him, and Disney even honored the man by awarding and making a pin named after him. Scoop especially love kids and to make a child smile and light up is one of his specialties. I too love working with kids, well except the one little shark that

I too love working with kids because they are new to pin trading and still at the, I like it cause its a cute pin stage, not the I only trade for LE1000 or lower stage.
Now on to what do you get if youre a Scoopie well I get $39.50 every time I show up there and appear on stage
no no no kidding again. Actually we just get the satisfaction of knowing that were there, we are always goofing around and have a good time, we laugh and we laugh a lot, we get to act and feel like kids. And I go there because a lot of cute girls go to the pin seminars and well
. (Look Donna I was like major kidding okay) am I dead yet?
Why are we Scoopies? Beats me we give up a day or days of our time off to be there, when we show up early he puts us to work sorting those %$^&$ name pins.

But we meet new people every time we go there, we have a good time, and Scoop includes us in him seminars as part of the family, we get lots of valuable information sometimes a Castmember like one of the higher ups show up and give us pin news that even Scoops Scoop. (By the way I do love you Kelly

So thats why Im a Scoopie its not just a job, cause we sure as heck dont get paid, its a pin adventure.
In short its just a lot of fun, if you want to be a Scoopie come to a seminar and youll become one for sure, cant make it dont worry its easy youll see.
