How to attach several files to hotmail

without having to attach each one individually? I'd like to attach the whole folder of 10 documents but when I click on attach file it won't let me.

Hotmail doesn't allow you to select multiple files for attaching to email, you have to do them individually. You can upload the files to a directory in Skydrive and share them via a link if you want since your hotmail sign in is also a Skydrive sign in.

The easier solution would be to zip the folder and attach the zipped archive. It would send the contents of the folder as a single file for the recipient to unzip into their own directory.

Thanks - I have zipped before but its been a long time - gotta go research it & see...for now I attached individually - but will be doing more tom.

I use a free program called 7zip but if you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 you can just right click and select send to --> compressed (zipped) folder.
