How to assign MNSSHP tickets to guests without magic band

We are planning to buy a couple of tickets to MNSSHP for guests who are staying offsite and will not have magic bands. How do we go about giving them/assigning tickets?

If you buy them via phone, they’ll mail you hard ticket cards and they won’t be assigned to any individual person - so just use the card.

If you buy online you need to associate each ticket with a MDX profile. Take your e-mail confirmation to a ticket window/guest relations and they’ll give you a hard ticket. When you buy online you can also opt to have a hard ticket mailed to you, but it’s like $15 so not that practical.

I'm glad to see this thread because we need to pick up our tickets at guest services the night of the party. We do have magic bands and will have Park tickets loaded in our MDE.

How does it work to actually enter the park with the MNSSHP hard ticket? Do you go through the tapstile like normal? I'm wondering because my concern is if I go through the tapstile like you normally do to enter the park (scanning MB and fingerprint) I don't want it to deduct one of the regular days I have attached on my MDE. Or will they just give us a wristband?

This is our first MNSSHP and I don't know how entrance works, especially because we will not be able to pick up our tickets until the day of.

Enter through the touchpoints that are designated for MNSSHP. Those touchpoints only deduct a valid party ticket.

Look for signage above the entrances and follow people wearing costumes. ;)

Does that apply to After Hours too? Do they have separate lines to avoid using day tickets?

Perfect, thanks! My plan right now is to get there well before 4 pm to be ready to go in at 4. That is if it's still ok to get in early.

So our guests created MDE accounts and I have added them to my friends/family. My plan is to assign the tickets to their new MDE accounts and then go to the ticket window and get hard tickets once we get to the park. They won't have magic bands so I want to make sure this will work.
