Actually I believe the idea is that someone else nominate you for best guest, not that you nominate yourself. It would really be more subjective that way.

Actually, it says you can do it yourself, I think it would be a huge problem if you could only nominate another person...People would get tons of mules to keep doing that, this way you can do it if you think you deserve it, based on the honor system.
