How to add a photo?

Since I'm still technically a newbie and am still trying to figure out what's up around the DIS, I've not been able to find info on how to add a photo to a post, or to the comminuty photo gallery. I'd like to post a photo of my DS's dessert at Artist's Point, but can't figure it out!
