5'1'' here as well. another shorty. i like being short.

My growth plates still arent completely closed but they are pretty darn close. I like being short, except sometimes its hard to find pants that fit. I do buy the short sizes but sometimes they are too long. But I love being able to wear heels around guys and still be shorter than they are.

Oh my gawd don't get me started on pants.
Designers seem to think that when you're short you have short legs. Nope, not the case.
I have pretty long legs, to the point where in some pants I have to go for the long sizes!
Mostly, I'm in between the short and regular sizes. Shorts look like highwaters, but I have to roll up the regulars. Sooo annoying!

ETA : And another thing that bugs me about being short is that we can't wear capris. Capris just make me look shorter - almost oompa loompa like.

My legs are short. So my only problem is finding pants that are short enough.

Oh my gosh I know what you mean about the capris! Its SO annoying. I actually did find a pair at American Eagle last year that were great. I got so excited. And bermuda shorts. They always come way past my knees, and sometimes end up looking like baggy capris.

I like being tall. With sneakers I'm 5'7" so I'm happy about that. I hate heels so I don't have a problem with appearing too tall.

I absolutely love skinny jeans, they are so comfy. But they never really fit properly on me, & they make my legs look even shorter.

See, I have short legs. Short everything. I always have to buy 'short' jeans, but they're cut funny so I think they look odd, bahaha.

I can wear capris, but only if they're really short. If they're normal length capris they just look like strange pants on me. It's frusterating searching everywhere for short capris.

omg i love skinny jeans. i've recently discovered i actually have a slight hourglass shape (shuddddup! hahaha) and skinny jeans accentuate it. plus they're soooooo dang comfy! they aren't loose like flare jeans so they don't bother me when i sit indian style.

nah, i'm short on top. i fit better in petite tops than anything.
it sooo is to find short capris. i found some last year, but even when i stand they go to right below my knee caps.
