MY DS will be 8 Oct 19 and we are sailing on the 4 day DCL Sept 14. That will put him just outside of a month away from being able to go to the 8-9 year old group in the lab. I read the guidelines and it says the child must be within a month of his birthday. How strict are they with this? I can't imagine that they would not let him move up with the 8 year olds. He has already cruised once and he has already said he wants to be in the Lab instead of the Club with the younger kids. Has this been an issue for anyone? Thanks!

We have found with our 3 children that they will want to make him happy and I'm sure they will have no problem letting him check in with the older group. He'll love it, and so will you knowing he's happy:D

We had a similar issue last time with my youger son. He would have been 8 in August. They were very accommadating and let him go to with the older kids. The counselor said that if there was an issue he would have to go back, but there wasn't... They also said that he needed to have his older brother there with him but relaxed that after they saw that he fit in.

We did not have a Problem. Everyting is really geared to the kids and making them happy.
