How strict are the lunch menus?

I know this is an extremely stupid question before i've even typed it!

I noticed on allears.net that some places have slight variations between the lunch and dinner menu. Can you ask for something you know they offer for dinner but at lunchtime? As I said - stupid question!

DD10 will be on the adult dining plan this time and I know a lot of the time she wont order off the adult menu, so we are going to pay off plan for some of her meals, which means we will have extra TS credits, hence the reason we are having some TS lunches (dont normally).

Forgive my obvious stupidity!!

1) There are no stupid questions. *
2) Once in a while
. . . lunch items can be acquired at dinner
. . . dinner items can be acquired at lunch
3) Just not very often
4) But, always worth asking the waiter/waitress.

* Well, yes there are some stupid questions, but not when it concerns your vacation.
