How strict are fastpass return times?

Hi, we are going in August, and I was wondering whether CM's at Disneyland Paris will make sure that you can only ride during the valid period on your fastpass ticket, or like WDW you can ride anytime that day as long as it is after the start time printed on the fastpass.
We were not stopped once in WDW, even though we became Jedi's at collecting multiple fastpasses earlier in the day, and then riding TOT 4+ times in the dark that evening
Anyone been knocked back at Disney Paris?

it's always been the same as you describe in my experience although we've only tried up to 2 hours later.

In my experience it's always been as you describe. I think the latest we've tried has been around 2 hours late.
