I've watched on youtube but I want to know what you all think. I'm thinking if getting a fp for my son and I. I can do mellow spinning rides as long as it isn't constant.
I know everything is relative, but here's my two cents. I get awful motion sickness and vertigo easily. I can't even do Soarin or most of the 4D movies, and I can ride Buzz with NO problems! Have fun
I too have trouble with motion sickness and vertigo (no Teacups for me!) on Buzz the only thing that can be problematic is the hyperspace tunnel part, I usually just close my eyes and shoot blindly . Otherwise I find that we are so focused on shooting that we hardly use the spin control at all, usually only to turn part way and point at targets.
As others said, you (or the person you are riding with) control your own car. It isn't bad at all, unless you are riding with my 11 year old who loves to take control of the joystick. I think she does it on purpose just so I can't get a good shot at the targets .
Thanks all! It sounds like I could handle it. I used to be able to ride the tilt a whirl . It was my favorite when I was younger because I was scared of the rollercoasters. You could make the tilt a whirl spin pretty fast. When I got older and rode it, I didn't love it ..lol. It made me dizzy but my kids were really getting it to spin.
It sounds like you whip around trying to shoot and it isn't a constant spin. I can handle that.
It sounds like the perfect thing to do while the others ride space mountain.
Not even close to a whip around. It spins very slowly. It may look like jerks you around but that only when it starts up or switches direction. It spins about the same speed that the Doom Buggies turn in HM.
Yeah, even when spinning, it's pretty slow. The point is to be able to turn your craft toward the best targets (Though sometimes I just lean on the lever to throw off my partner). It is generally a slow ride.
