How soon would you book an ADR after your plane lands? AT YOUR OWN RESORT?

I land at 12:40. Booking for 3:30 at our resort (Beaches & Cream). Too soon? Thoughts?

If you are taking DME to the BC it typically takes 60-90 minutes. Add time to check in and a 3:30 reservation would work. However, if there is a flight or travel delay you could miss your reservation so make the reservation only if you are willing to pay the $10 per person penalty if you don't make it to B&C.

That is too close for me. I generally book a dinner ADR on arrival day, and we always get to the resort before noon. I now it can be done, but that 2.5 to 3 hour span would add stress to my first day, and I refuse to begine a vacation running to make a resevation. I like to plan a CS lunch and a nice relazed arrival dinner.

Too soon for my comfort. A late dinner would be perfect though.
