How soon to rent a scooter?

My SIL was put into a boot yesterday and we are wondering, if she is leaving on the 11th of October for WDW, and returning to doctor on Oct 5th to see if she needs to remain in boot or not, how soon should she rent the scooter? Will she be risking not getting one form Gold Mobility if she waits til the 5th, or will she be safe in waiting? This is all new to us

With Gold Mobility, you can always cancel, so I would book now.

I would rent now. Even if she is out of the boot on 10/5, her foot may not be up for all the walking less than a week later. She may want one anyway.

I'd reserve the scooter now and you can cancel later if it isn't needed.

another reserve now and cancel if not needed. much rather have and cancel than try to find at last minute
