How soon to get airline & car tickets?

Hi everybody! How soon should I get reservations for my airline and car rental tickets? I will be going in June of 2007. Any help would mean a lot. Thanks.

I bought ours for December in March of this year, as I found a great price for us. If you keep an eye of the prices and you see something you like, go for it!! Good luck!!
