This seemed like the best place to post this question. We are planning our first WDW trip for June of 2014. Disney online only goes to December of 2013. However, from all I've heard, you need to make restaurant reservations 6 months out so how does that work if you can't even make room reservations until January? As newbies, I know we'll need an agent to help with this and I'd like know at what point before the trip should we contact one. Thanks for any tips or suggestions!

I agree that you should go ahead and contact them for a quote! And later in the year you should be able to actually book your reservation. You won't have to wait til Jan 2014 to book.

They typically release the next years rates and availability in Sep. or Oct. You can book a room only 499 days in advance but the rate will not be guaranteed.

Ok, thank you. I'll wait until fall of 2013 to get info about June of 2014 then. There doesn't seem to be any point to doing anything earlier, especially if you don't even know the cost.
