How soon should I contact IPO??

I am going to be staying at the Poly LVC in early December. There will be a few PSs I will ask them to make for me, but my biggest question is should I contact them sooner rather than later to ask for either a 1st or 3rd floor room? I'm not really that picky, but I would rather have a lanai or balcony. I don't know if it would make a difference asking for this now or waiting until it gets closer.

Any opinions are welcomed!!

You can contact them as soon as you have a reservation if you like, especially if you want tickets for one of the dinner shows or La Nouba. I don't know if contacting them sooner as opposed to later really influences room assignments as I have never made a request and always gotten a great room!
