Ok......so I have a confession to make........:rolleyes1 ................once I get an idea in my mind or a project I like to do them as soon as possible.....especially if I'm excited about it! [Wish I was the same with school projects :cool2: ] I got an idea for my favors and decorating my bubble wands and of course I bought a sample for my favor.....and began decorating my bubble wands......i'm hoping to get married this June [no contract signed yet........not a Disney wedding] and i'm already starting to put my decorations together!! How soon is too soon?? Am I crazy for starting this already? I'm having a blast doing it! I just feel a bit out of place......lol Thanks for any emotional support! lol:lmao:

You...!

I have not even received my e-ring yet and we are planning as we speak for 2008! lol

I know its coming just not when or how....gotta love surpises! lol

Good luck AND you are not alone! lol

we are getting married next sept! no signed contract with disney yet and i'm making stuff all the time!! I dont think its ever too soon!

Trust me, the earlier you start to work on items such as favors and bubble wands, the easier life is on you during the planning process. It is one less thing to worry about and one less thing to pay for. The only thing that could be negative starting so early is some people tend to change thier minds often and so everything they have done changes as well...I have 3 different invitations, 2 wedding gowns, and Like 4 or 5 favors.

One more thing, the disboards can be a dangerous place...so many darling ideas by very creative brides!

One more thing, whatever you make please post in your PJ, I am an avid reader!

I was afraid I was the only one!! My bf and I have been talking about it for some time now. We are looking into a DFTW at the end of 2008. I've worked on projects, I even purchased BM gifts and stuff to put in welcome bags. Sometimes I'm afraid I'm getting a little out of hand and feel like I should slow it down since I'm technically not even engaged it. But I just can't help getting excited to start planning.

We won't be having a Disney wedding and we aren't getting married until June 2009 but we have started planning. We know there are a lot of decisions to make so we started looking at reception venues for prices, I started getting ideas for favors, invites, flowers, etc.

I am a planner, I like to know what is going on, some may see it as being excessive but I see it as being prepared! It is just my personality and I know I will have a lot going on in the near future since I am student teaching in the Fall I figure we wont have a lot of time to plan things out and visit venues. After student teaching I will be searching for a job and focusing on that. Plus we will need to buy house. :goodvibes

The way I see it planning a wedding, graduation, finding and having a new job, and searching for a new house will use up a lot of my time and energy so I figure the more I can do now, the better! I subscribed to bridal magazines and have a peak at theknot.com pretty much everyday. Dont worry about it, you are not alone. Have fun with it!! :goodvibes :wizard:

I don't think you are crazy at all. Just wanted to tell you to not do your bubble wands too early, mine seemed to evaporate. There are so many things you can do early and not deal with the stress later.
