How soon can you make reservations?

Can someone give me actual experience with the time lag between closing on a resale and being able to make reservations?

I know what the resale paperwork says, and I know about the ROFR process and the time that takes -- what I'm looking for is the actual time it took you to be able to book a reservation after you closed your resale transaction.

Usually after closing takes place, it takes DCL about a week or so to get you into the computers. Once you have been noted in the computer as the rightful owner, you can make ressies immediately.
