How slow will the parks be now?

No way of knowing until we get there. Most people who have made plans are still going to go... so don't count on empty parks. This is a busy time for WDW usually... so the crowds may not be up to the usual, but I wouldn't count on no waits.

Go, have a great time, and let Disney do what it does best.... provide happiness and magic!

I saw a post on another board that the parks are packed! MK had long waits for everything and even Epcot seemed crowded.
Talked to my friends who are already down there at the Polynesian and they said the pool was very crowded too.

Most people have their trips planned and partly or fully paid before their trip. I don't think you will really notice until maybe a few months from. I would be surpirsed if those who were considering going will now take a wait and see approach.
Between the war AND the economy, I think it will be a bad tourist year for all.
I have to say I would double think about it just because of the flying troubles. Additional security will make even more of a pain of flying.

I prefer to think optimistically... the Iraqi govt already appears to be crumbling... if this is a short lived conflict, the economy will rebound. All of those who have done without will want to vacation. Very much like it was after the Gulf War!

With lots of prayer and some pixie dust, it could happen!!!!

Im here now. We went to the MK today and it was packed. I didnt see any signs of slow crowds.
