I have a couple ADRs at Rainforest Cafe at AK park.

However, I have read some people say that it's very slow there even with ADRs, and it takes just forever to be seated, get your food, pay, etc. What are your experiences? How long does it take?

Our wait time is generally about 15 to 30 minutes during the afternoon rush. It's not too bad, but it is definetly not a hastle and i would not skip the meal because of the wait. We usually go during value season (2nd week in december) so the crowds aren't too bad. We'd never EVER go during the summer, during or close to a holiday or anytime the kids are out of school.:hippie:

Are you a safari club member?

If so, they will seat you BEFORE an ADR!:thumbsup2

What's the safari club? We've eaten a Rainforest every trip and I've never heard of it!:confused3

On a Friday we walked in about 11:30 and we were seating right away, I'm guessing towards dinner is when it's the most crowded but our food came pretty quick actually.

I think it depends on when you're going. In January ('06) we walked in around 1:30 and were seated with no wait and served promptly as well. No complaints. I actually like Rainforest Cafe.

Hi mika,

On a weekend we just walked in to rain forest at arround 10:30. It was much crowded at the moment, and it hardly took about 8 to 10 mins. But our food came preety quickily. No complaints. I actually like Rainforest Cafe.

Thanxs,
Mike:woohoo:

The Safari Club is RFC membership card. I think it costs you $15, but you get that back off your bill as a discount. It entitles you to a free appetizer and discount via email from time to time. One of the best perks is advanced seating at any of their locations before any other non-membered guest....including these locations at Disney with ADRS!

Last spring we had an ADR for dinner at RFC at AK and the wait was about 40 minutes...it was REALLY crowded. It was Valentine's Day. Anyway, I asked if being a safari club member would help us get a seat faster. They said ABSOLUTELY! We were seated within 3-5 minutes!:woohoo:

It is slow. We usually wait 1 to 1.5 hours for a table (we shop close to the place to kill time) and it takes forever to be seated (they make a bunch of people line up and follow the hostess in and then they start dividing you up into tables) and the food is not too quick to come out but when it does it is yummy!
