I have a question about my WDW Tickets GAD tickets..
I am not sure what is the best way to get the most out of the GAD.
Gabby does not have a GAD only me, she really does not ride thrill rides and unless that changes in the next 3 months, we won't be riding any of them.
I don't know if using it for FP or just upgrading it or maybe just getting the souvenir is the best option.
I plan on getting my tickets from UT and when I priced them(not inlcluding their discount) a 5 day pass would cost the same as a 6 day and be for both of us for 437.90

If you want any monetary savings out of it, you have to use it for the free ticket. Then upgrade that ticket to what you need. You cannot get a ticket from another source and apply any sort of GAD savings to it.

Using the GAD ticket and upgrading will certainly be cheaper than even UT can get you. Upgrading it to a 6-day would only cost you $169.34.

You could still get one ticket via UT and still save on that one.

Otherwise your options are:

- Fastpass Exchange Cards - doesn't seem terribly useful if there isn't a thrill-ride person - unless you were to use them all for yourself :) They are more useful during busy times.

- Souvenir

- Donate the free ticket

Plus when you are going can be a factor in if you want to do the FP. A GAD FP on a busy day could be priceless. Especially if you don't want to be at the park at the break of dawn!

Thanks for the responses!!I guess my other question is, will it be a monetary savings for me to upgrade the ticket at DW versus buying it UT.. I never thought about buying one from UT and upgrading the other..
off to calculate

I can guarantee it will be a savings over UT. UT is not giving you a $84 savings over the WDW gate price.

I also miscalculated earlier...upgrading the GAD to a 6-day base ticket would be $161.88.

Thanks for your help!!I had not thought about doing one UT and one at the parks

If i bought tickets straight from Disney, and not counting my GAD ticket it would cost
456.89 for Gabby and I for 6 days passes

If I bought tickets from UndercoverTourist not counting my GAD ticket it would cost
429.90 for 6 day passes

If I use my GAD pass and upgrade it at Disney from a 5 day pass and then buy Gabby a 6 day pass at Disney it will cost
161.98 +210.87= 372.85

If I use my GAD pass and upgrade it at Disney from a 5 day pass and buy Gabby a 6 day pass on UT it will cost
161.98 +198.85= 360.83

Needless to say I will be going with one of the two latter
