How should I dress my baby?

We are going on the 3-day Wonder cruise March 5 and also doing 3-4 days at Disney World. I have a baby who will be just over 11 months at the time. Since I've never taken a baby this age or been to Disney in March, I'm not sure how to dress her. Should I take shorts and t-shirts? Sleeveless? Long sleeves? Any help would be much appreciated!

I have been in March, and one day we wore shorts and tank-tops and the next we wore sweatshirts and jeans. I would say take a little of everything. Obviously a parka isn't neccesary, but a couple of each fall and spring clothing would be suitable I would think, but if anything at least take a sweatshirt type jacket.

We went in January when DS was 11 months old. He wore whatever we wore based on the weather. As pp said, we were in shorts and t-shirts one day and jeans and sweatshirts the next. I agree, bring a little of everything. A few days before you go check the weather websites to get a better idea and adjust what you bring if needed. If worse comes to worst you could always pick up some clothes at the parks. Not the cheapest way to go, I know. On our last day there as we were watching the parade before we had to leave for the airport DS threw up all over himself. Stupid me didn't have an extra outfit in the diaper bag, and everything else we had was on it's way to the air port so we bought a change of clothes in the Magic Kingdom. The only thing that was a problem to find was toddler sized pants. The closest thing I could find was a pair of pajamas.

Have a great time on your trip!

:welcome: to the Dis!

Pack for everything. When ds7 took his first trip he was 6 months old. We went in early December and I only packed summer clothes. He wore warmer clothes down - drove from Ohio. There were only 3 colder days out of the week but I ended up buying him a reversable sweat outfit that he wore for 2 days - atleast that $30 was well spent since dd5 wore it a couple of years later.

I hate to say it but.... Bring it all! Days could be very warm for shorts and Ts and nights cool for jeans and sweatshirt or light jacket. Don't forget the swimwear! You will need that too. I always pack everything but the kitchen sink as they say:) And I am usually glad I do! Have a great trip with your little one. We were there in December with our 13 month old DS and has a great time. He love love loved it!!!!!!

I agree with pp's - take a little of everything. We went in Oct with our 8 month old DD and packed some short-sleeved t-shirts, some long-sleeved, some shorts, some jeans and a sweatshirt plus a lightweight jacket. We didn't need much of the warm clothes, but I did put the jeans on her everynight and we used the sweatshirt one or two nights as well.

I would bring things that layer easily. It's often cool in the mornings but warms up in the afternoon. We went in February last year when DD was 9 months and I would put her in things like a summery dress with babylegs under it and a sweater, and then later in the day I could take the babylegs and sweater off.
