How should I do Universal on a HH day

We are planning in doing the early admission at universal on the 30th of October. I know it closes at 5 that day. We have the 3 park unlimited so we aren't on a strict schedule. My thought was to get to universal for the 7am ee and stay there for the day and then if not tired take the Hogwarts over around 430 to IOA. Or should we do EE and then spend the day at IOA. It looks like universal is EE for the 30th and 31st and then switches to IOA. We aren't doing parks on the 31st so it's our only EE at universal.

I would do the studios and potter during the EE period

Do some of the other rides/shows before you move over to ioa

If this is the only day to do the parks
Split your day UO so you can hit the highlights of both parks

We have 6 days we can go to the parks.

I would not wait until 430 to jump on the hogwarts express. If you wait that late I would recommend walking. Did that last year and found myself in a line that quickly went from a 45 to over an hour line. A lot of people exit at that time and have the same idea. It's possible it wouldn't have a crazy wait, but just keep that in mind. The walk isn't too bad and you can ride the train at a less busy time

We chose to do EE at USF, then transfer to IOA. Unfortunately, the Hogwart's Express wasn't running at 9, so we went by way of the main gates. On the bright side, that lets us snag a locker.

We did all the things we wanted to do in IOA. That excludes the Hulk, since our bodies have gotten too old for the more intense coasters, but we did do Forbidden Journey twice. (I'm not sure the second time was wise, but we enjoyed it.) I see no advantage to spending the bulk of the day in USF if you'll have another opportunity to get there for EE (or as they call it now, EPA-Early Park Admission).
