Hi! Just looking for some advice on cutting out my mickey head designs, that were made for us.
I used light transfer paper and am putting them on white tshirts...
Should I cut as close to the design as possible? Seems simple around the mickey head, but what about the characters beside them, and the "walt disney world" underneath of them?
Any advice or previous experience is greatly appreciated.
I am so scared of messing this up!!

good question. I am using dark transfer on different color shirts so I could use this advice.

For the light transfers on the white shirts, it doesn't really matter because the white border will be clear. I would just suggest cutting off the bulk of the excess so as not to have so much "plastic" feeling on the shirt.

For the dark transfers, the white WILL be white. So I would suggest if you do not want to cut around everything, that you have a border around the design and cut around the border.

I hope this answers both your questions. If not, re-post and I'm sure myself or someone else can help.

I put mine on gray shirts. I printed the Mickey heads on dark transfer paper and then cut them out very carefully. It was a pain to cut around the characters, but worth it. I printed the words Walt Disney World on light transfer paper and just cut around them in the general shape and then ironed on the two separate pieces. This is how they turned out:

Thanks everyone!!
Your shirts look awesome!!

I am so scared to start the iron on process... Shirts are washed, but I'm too chicken to start them yet, lol.

I really like the idea of cutting out the walt disney world and ironing it on seperately.

Thanks again.
