How should Crocs fit?

OK, I finally did it, too. Put the shoes in the dryer for a couple minutes on medium setting. When I took them out they felt really big and really squishy!

The person who told me how to do this suggested putting them on while wearing 2 pair of socks, but dang it, it's hot out, so I only used one thicker pair.

Anyway, I wandered to Starbucks and around a local park in them (I know, I'm sure I looked ridiculous!) They feel plenty big, the back strap is stretched out nicely, and I think they'll work great for Disneyland.

Note: For some reason I was thinking I had to wear them like this for a couple hours, but I think it's probably necessary just for the few minutes it takes them to cool off. :lmao:

Go for it!

Thanks! Your replies make me feel better. I can go an put my crocs in my bag now. I have to start packing tonight. I have to work the day we leave so it will be a crazy week.

momrek06-That is funny that you want navy that is the color that I got. You said that you have the light blue which is the color I want. Well maybe my next pair. I can't wait to see the new Disney ones! :)

I'd take another pair of walking shoes in case the Crocs don't work out for you. I had worn my around town for errands for a couple of weeks with no problems, but they just didn't "agree" with my feet when it came to spending hours of walking in the parks. Both DH and I had blisters after the first day. :sad2: My kids, though, wore theirs with no problems for the 10 days we were there.

I think the problem with DH and me is that we are both truly between sizes - the smaller size would have hurt our toes, but the larger size was too large and gave us blisters. He wound up wearing his sneakers and me my Tevas for the rest of the trip. We both wore the Crocs to Typhoon Lagoon, however...

Will be giving it a shot tomorrow! Thanks! Mine are tight right at teh opening...and where the little button is for the strap rubs and makes a hot spot (only on the pink pair, my black pair are wider for some reason!) I love them but plan on wearing my keens or haviana flip flops most of teh time, the crocs are the backup plan :)

I wear an 8 and I could NOT get the Beach style to work for me. The small was too small and the medium was huge. I have 2 pairs of Caymans in size 8 that are perfect.

They DO give me blisters on the top of my foot near where the strap hooks on. They aren't too small, it is the friction of my foot hitting that spot when I walk. I got blisters in that same spot on both feet on our August trip, but only after I had been wearing them in the parks for 6 days straight.

DS wore socks with his and didn't get blisters, but he was also alternating with his sneakers.

Be very careful wearing them anywhere that the floor is really shiny/polished because the Croc will "stick" to the floor. I frequently trip in Target and at the mall.

Jackskellingtonsgirl, thanks for posting! That lends credence to my thought that the Caymans run true to size rather than a size too big.

Thanks also for the tips on their 'stickiness' on certain floors, I'll be careful for that. :)
